The Wizard profession in this game is the most Versatile of all of the magical professions that you can choose for your character. There is a much wider spectrum of spells and magical skills that a Wizard can train in that no other profession in the game can match. Wizards also have many spells that they can train in which causes them to swing weapon harder so that gives them a major advantage for hunting as well. Add this advantage to some of the extremely powerful spells that Wizards can cast, and you have yourself probably one of the most well rounded professions in the game.
Like with all other spells and spell categories that all magical professions have the option to train in, in order to use a Wizards spells you must first know each of the different codes for each of the different Wizard spell categories. These codes are as follows:

Those are the 3 different codes that must be typed in before you can prep and then use a Wizard's spells.
So for example, if you are hunting a Ghost in the game, and you want to use a level 1 Wizard spell from the 090 spell category, then you would have to first type PREPARE 0901, then press Enter on your Keyboard or Key Pad, then wait for the spell to be prepared, and then you would simply type CAST AT GHOST, and press enter on your Keyboard or Keypad. If you wanted to use a level 2 Wizard spell from this same spell category, then you would type PREPARE 0902, and then when it is ready, you would type CAST AT GHOST, etc. This same process is necessary for casting any spell in any 3 of the Wizard's spell categories.
Like with any spell for any profession, if you have not trained in the spell you are trying to use by using the in game skill manager system, and if you aren't the proper level required in order to use that spell, then you will not be able to use it. :)
