The Empath profession in this game is probably the most self sufficient of all due to it's ability to heal itself and to heal others. The Empath is the only profession in the game that is capable of removing damage from characters and placing it somewhere else until it is ready to be eliminated. This makes the Empath an extremely popular profession, and one that gets paid nicely in tips.
What the Empath lacks in combat and magical spell groups, it makes up for in other ways, such as being one of the best skinning professions in the game. This is important, because creature skins in the game when sold at FURRIER Shops equals money in the bank. Literally. :)
