The Rogue profession in this game is known for it's stealth and lock picking abilities. No other profession can hide, stalk, sneak, ambush, or lock pick like the Rogue can.
Aside from those abilities, the Rogue can also train in a variety of weaponry, similar to a warrior, and with the versatility of some of the other professions like the Ranger.
Being a Rogue in this game can be extremely fun, and depending on how you want to role play your character, can also be very entertaining.
A Rogue has the extended ability to become a master at picking the pockets of other characters in the game from the shadows and without being seen. Or in other words, stealing money from other players in the game without being caught.
Add all of that to the Rogues natural ability for picking the locks off of boxes and chests, and you have yourself what is possibly the second best money making profession that this game has to offer. :)
