To give an item to someone or something in this game, you must first grab it and hold it in your hand, then you just type the words GIVE (Item) To (Name of Player, NPC Character, or Creature), and then press Enter on your keyboard or keypad. This may take a few times to practice before you get it right, but it's relatively easy once you get the hang of it. =)
