To pick up items off of the ground in this game, or to grab items from containers on your person, just type the word GET and then the item you are trying to pick up and grab. So for example, if you see a quartz crystal on the ground, just type GET Quartz Crystal, and then press Enter on your keyboard or keypad, and that will cause your character to pick up the quartz crystal that is on the ground.

If you have a quartz crystal in a container that you are carrying or wearing, just type GET MY Quartz Crystal and then press Enter on your keyboard or keypad, and that will cause your character to grab the quartz crystal that is in one of the containers on your character's body, and to place the crystal in your character's hand. =)
